Trying to post

I am trying to do this blog thing, but I am not good at it.  I work, I sew and I post it. So don't kill me.

I'm missing fashion week.

This week I am preparing for my beginner's sewing class for October, and to my surprise it's sold out!  I am so happy.  Working on the West African Collection is the next big phase.  I can't wait.  I plan on spending more time on this, so stay tuned. 

Know your niche!

Just because you can't tailor a suit or make a quilt doesn't mean you should give up on sewing.  Keep working on it.
